Founded in 2009, KG Group began as a small eBay seller run by co-founder Nimrod Ganon. What started with a handful of listings quickly grew into one of Australia’s largest online B2C retail operations.
Today, the business manages more than 25,000 products and serves over 3 million customers nationwide.
Early on, the team recognized a major opportunity: marketplaces were becoming a preferred way for Australians to shop online. Rather than compete with them, KG Group decided to partner with multiple marketplaces — a decision that would define its long-term growth strategy.
By 2022, KG Group had established partnerships with more than 20 online marketplaces, including The Myer Market, Woolworths Everyday Market, Coles, Catch, and Amazon.
This strategic move allowed the business to scale quickly and reach new audiences — without taking on additional warehousing or infrastructure.
The company’s ability to integrate efficiently with platforms like Marketplacer played a major role in that success.
We’re working to have a presence on every marketplace that’s using the Marketplacer platform. It allows us to rapidly process and fulfill orders and provide strong follow-up customer support.

KG Group’s experience with the Marketplacer platform has given them the ability to go live on new marketplaces with remarkable speed.
Having worked with Marketplacer for some time now, we can be up and running on a new marketplace in about a week. That means we can quickly take advantage of new opportunities as soon as they’re identified.

This agility has helped KG Group stay ahead of shifting retail trends and maintain momentum in a highly competitive online landscape.
With a strong presence across major Australian marketplaces and a proven model for scaling, KG Group is optimistic about the future.
We’re excited to continue working closely with Marketplacer to grow online retailing across Australia.
